One of our deceased firefighter’s sons had been attending lineman school. He graduated in mid-April 2015 with a prospective job in Seattle. He’s very grateful for the Benevolent Foundation for his career.
I wanted to share a story about Patrick Burke. As many of you know he is Mike Burke’s son. The Benevolent Foundation assisted Patrick with an educational grant to help him in his pursuit of becoming an electrical lineman. I spoke to Patrick yesterday and he graduates school this Friday. He is so excited about his future and already has a job offer near Seattle. He wanted to be sure to thank the Foundation and all of you for remembering his father and supporting him as he would not have had this chance without us. He looks forward to his future and to flying his grandfather up to watch the Yankees play the Mariners.
I want to thank all you that support the Foundation. It is success stories like Patrick’s that remind me why we are here. Thank you all!
